What does everyone think about the officiating, if you ask me it was complete bullshit. Ruined the whole Super Bowl. If you'd like to show your feelings about it, I recomend going to the link below. It's a petiton that has almost 10,000 signatures so far. new.petitiononline.com/mod_perl/signed.cgi?nfl12006

No i agree with Sector, the Officials gave the game to the Steelers. They feel that the fans would be mad at them if the Steelers didn't win. Every time the Seahawks did something great there was a flag. The Steelers never got caught with anything. And Finally Rothlisberger didn't cross the plain with the tip of the ball. BS

By the way on the Roethlisberger TD call, he admitted today he didn't think he made the TD on Letterman

Personally I am neutral on the subject. Although I do like the Steelers more. I think that the calls were questionable and that the NFL should seriously take this game into consideration. All of you that think it cost Seattle the game. You are ignorant, because we will never really know the outcome. If the calls had gone Seattle's way the Seahawks would have had a CHANCE to win.

The game would have been a score of 16-7 or 16-3 at halftime had some calls been called right, and the Seahawks didn't score a TD and went for a Field Goal within the 15 yard line, if you think the officials didn't change the outcome of the game, you weren't watching the same game. It's not like I want an excuse on why we lost, I want to know that the better team won, not that there was an outside force helping the other team.

well i saw this tv thing and they broke down all the contreversial plays and they wre all coulda gone either way but like roethlisbergers touchdown they virtually did it and a split sec before he hit the ground the nose of the ball was across

How about the call where they called holding on Locklear, where we would have gotten the ball on the 1 yd line. Not only was there not holding but the guy Locklear was 'holding' was offsides

Just because there are a ton of robberies doesn't make it alright.
Why should blown calls be alright just because there are a lot of them?

I'm not saying that blown calls are alrite. Im saying that people blow things out of proportion when things dont go their way.

Yeah, people seem to do that when blown calls were a major reason to them losing the biggest sporting even of the year

the calls weren't the reason seattle lost, they lost because they were outplayed and outcoached. pittsburgh made more plays. how many balls did jeremy stevens drop. and shaun alexander didn't play to his potential.

I accuattly feel the seahawks played the better game. Sure there was bad coaching with clock management but i heard that it was just because he was so pissed about the calls right before. He accuattly only dropped two and werent they both under pressure. Techinically it was 3 drops but one should have been a fumble. Shaun still got almost 100 yards in the game, he just had an off day at the wrong time.
